Pre-Natal Yoga: Mom's and Babies to be can enjoy stretching, lengthening, and calming themselves for the joyous occasion of the birth of their little one. Mom's to be get time just for them to be nurtured, stretched, and elongated according to where they are in their pregancy. We will also give some time in this class for Mom's to share with one another to build support and share experiences. Vocal toning, yoga postures by trimester, and postures to aid in the birthing process are highlights of this class. If enough mom's have other children, perhaps we can work on an arrangement to care for the other children through bartering or just including them in the class. A special workshop will be scheduled during the 6 weeks to include the mom's and babies to be partners. Pre-natal Certified instructor.

Yoga Adventurers: Kids ages 5 yrs to 8 yrs learn yoga through fun interactive movement, song, and even some dance. We start to explore yoga through theme adventures learning fun chants, breath, focus, asana, relaxation, and song. We incorporate games and activities to explore and have fun with yoga. We have Focus Pocus time for balancing, learn age appropriate anatomy, and learn to explore our breath in inventive fun ways. Adventurers start to get in tune with their inner teacher, so don't be surprised when they start to tell you that they need space and time to practice their yoga.

Parent/Child Yoga for Mothers/Daughters, Dads and Lads, & or Parents and Child 7-14yrs: Mothers and Daughters, Dads & Lads, Parents and Children get an opportunity to explore yoga together! Improve your body and mind with a fun approach to breathing and movement. Increase strength, flexibility, coordination, and posture. Learn relaxation techniques, fun partner poses, breath techniques, and enhance concentration that will create a foundation for health and wellness. The bond that occurs in this class between parents and children is truly special and a gift you give to each other. Mixed siblings are welcome.

Yoga Basics: Teens, Seniors, and Adults can learn the basics of yoga. This mixed level class offers yoga instruction based on opening certain parts of the body. One week we may focus on hips and hamstrings, and another class may focus on neck and shoulders. While we may focus in one area for that week, we will still move through earth/grounding poses, water/Balance poses, Fire/Creativity poses, air/reflection poses, and ether/resting poses to ensure a full body experience.

Yoga for Babies and Toddlers: Babies 12 mos and Toddlers 2- 4yrs and their Parents are invited to come and explore Yoga together. This active Theme class is a great way to stretch, play, sing, and have fun with your little one! You will recognize well known classic Kids songs and other special Yoga kid's songs that blend fun movement, animal themes, and adventures into learning yoga postures. Babies participate by watching others and joining in when they are ready. Most mom's report that the babies usually do the Yoga at Home and watch in class. But start to sing the songs very early. Discover your toddler's natural ability to do yoga as they interact with each other and you. An introduction to breath, focus, asana, and relaxation are discovered. We also have an activity time where we either read a story, draw our favorite animal, or other games to reinforce the yoga explored that day.

Yoga for Babies: Babies and Parents can enjoy spending time with one another while stretching to yoga postures. This class focuses on both the parent and the baby depending on how mobile your little one has become. Babies get to interact with each other during certain activities, exploring early socialization. Mom's and/or Dad's you do get to discover how to stretch and lengthen your body too. Come explore ways to play with your little one through yoga starting your little one and you out with awareness exercises in breath, postures, and as much quiet time as the class will allow. Some chanting, and of course breath work is introduced.

Yoga Explorers: Youth ages 8 - 11 yrs learn yoga through exploration into the world of anatomy and yoga history. Yoga Explorers inquire and go more inward discovering how yoga feels in their own body as they uncover the inner workings of body mind connection. We do start to create a firm foundation for alignment, grounded ness, balance, and breath, to increase strength, flexibility, coordination, and posture. This age is curious and depending on the time, they love to research and find out about the history and philosophy of yoga, so outside research is encouraged but never mandatory. And depending on group dynamics in the class, we will take a bit of time during the class to discuss Yoga philosophy on a very broad introductory scale.

Yoga Flow: Teens and Adults can now enjoy this class too. The same type of class that we offer for Teen Yoga Flow except we use different music and the class is taught in a bit more progressive manner. Earth grounding poses, Water Balance poses, Fire Strength poses, and Air Reflection poses are blended together and are also taught gently to meet your level of flexibilty. We do stop the flow at times for posture alignment and basic breathwork which is essential to truly enjoying and staying safe in postures. Come and enjoy the flow.

Parent/Child Yoga: Parents and their kids ages 2 -4 can enjoy doing yoga together. This active Theme class is a great way to stretch, play, sing, and have fun with your little one! Mixed siblings are welcome. Discover your toddler's natural ability to do yoga as they interact with each other and you. An introduction to breath, focus, asana, and relaxation are discovered. We also have an activity time where we either read a story, draw our favorite animal, or other games to reinforce the yoga explored that day.

Teen Yoga Flow: Pre-Teens & Teens ages 11-16 yrs learn the steps before Power Yoga or Vinyasa Yoga. Teens learn mini viniyasa flow learning the fundamentals of coordination of breath to asana (posture) practice. Through Viniyoga concepts, teens will experience how different poses can flow together in a progressive series of movement. A firm foundation and understanding of the postures is put in place as we learn to flow the postures together. We use the music the teens bring to class, except during relaxation and breath work. This class can be modified for Adults.

Yoga for Wiggle worms: Toddlers 2- 4yrs and their Parents are invited to come and explore Yoga together. This active Theme class is a great way to stretch, play, sing, and have fun with your little one! You will recognize well known classic Kids songs and other special Yoga kid's songs that blend fun movement, animal themes, and adventures into learning yoga postures. Discover your toddler's natural ability to do yoga as they interact with each other and you. An introduction to breath, focus, asana, and relaxation are discovered. We also have an activity time where we either read a story, draw our favorite animal, or other games to reinforce the yoga explored that day.

Yoga Moves: (Grades K- 2nd grade and 2nd - 4th grade) These classes are taught at the school as part of their After School Enrichment programs. It is usually in a 8 or 10 week session and you would register and pay through each individual elementary or middle school program. These classes are fun and include yoga breathing techniques, yoga postures, yoga games, and/or dance movement. When and where appropriate we can integrate Meditation and Art projects for a whole approach. Classes are currently taught at Wellington Elementary School After School Enrichment program and Belmont Day School in Belmont Ma. Yoga Moves II: (Grades K- 4th grade Ages 5-10) The same type of class as Yoga Moves listed above only we have moved it to Payson Park Church and it is open for any child ages 5 - 10 no matter what elementary school they attend.

Yoga Dance: (Youth ages 6-14) This class combines yoga and dance movement to explore balance, music, dance, and yoga. This fun class will end with the last class as our performance class where we hope parents will come and the kids dress-up for this unique yoga dance performance.

Yoga, Meditation & Art: (Youth ages 7-11) These classes are based on the Sayta Method of Child Meditation. We will explore Yoga, Meditation, and use our Art projects to integrate the lessons we learn each week. Each week we will focus on a different topic. This very useful class will teach your child ways to manage emotions, deal with stress and difficulties, and other topics that kids deal with today. For more info or to create a class click here.

Family Yoga Fun: (Parents, Babies, Toddlers , Kids ages 2-10)can enjoy doing yoga together. This active Theme class is a great way to stretch, play, sing, and have fun with your little family! Mixed siblings are welcome. An introduction to breath, focus, asana, and relaxation are discovered as we play with yoga in creative ways. We might explore the ocean together, or climb a prentend mountain. Varied activities will be included reading stories, making up stories, dance moves, and meditation and art projects will be included. All to reinforce the yoga explored that day.

Family Yoga II (a bit more serious): Ages 11 and up Teens, Seniors, and Adults can learn the basics of yoga. This mixed level class will provide students with a firm foundation of yoga postures and how they open each part of the body. While we may focus in one area for that week, we will still move through earth/grounding poses, water/balance poses, fire/creativity poses, air/reflection poses, and ether/resting poses to ensure a full body experience in each class. Breathwork, meditation, and an understanding of the roots and traditions of yoga will also be explored. You can register for the full 8 week session or an individual class.
